Domestic Abuse Services
Domestic abuse is widespread and most young people are ashamed to disclose it and afraid of retaliation, even though they understand it’s against the law. We are well-experienced to respond to young people who have experienced domestic violence. We take these young people in our confidence, build a trusting relationship with them and identify the pattern and depth of abuse they underwent and slowly guide them to unwind back to normal.
We constantly screen and document these young individuals, and guide them to stand up to what is right, and not blame them for being abused. We also help young people with developmental delays, who have faced domestic violence and may be experiencing the trauma of witnessing domestic violence.
