The aim of Route to Transition is for the promotion of a successful transition to adulthood. Our ultimate goal is to support care leavers and young minds suffering from bad experiences and help them achieve a healthy, independent life. We trust accommodation is a critical part of that journey. We provide the necessary support to every individual to feel warmth, integrity, empathy, respect, self-awareness, and confidence in life.
It is essential to, for example, the ability to take up and uphold education, training or employment. The provision of housing alone will not be enough to secure positive outcomes. Therefore we provide an inclusive supportive service in a safe, well presented, self-contained living accommodation, where young care leavers in need, will be enabled to develop the emotional, social, practical, problem solving skills needed to live thriving adult lives, with both self-belief and resilience required to manage daily living.
Suppose they have gone through traumatic experiences or dealt with addiction and mental health issues. In that case, we support them with special care and enthusiasm to let them heal over time and reconstruct their relationships with their inner self and the outside world. We help our young people accomplish their goals to experience an independent and healthy life.
Young People will also be encouraged to sustain contact with their families and their individual cultural communities. Through a young person’s experience at Route to Transition, he/she will personally gain the experience of what it might be like to deal with the struggles and anxieties linked with living an independent life in their own living environment. We feel delighted in having rebuilt the lives of so many vulnerable young peoples, and we will continue helping young people in healing from trauma and neglect and making them look forward to a brighter future.
